Dylan Rogers is a multi-instrumentalist (keyboards, guitars, bass guitars, vocals) and composer with a rock/electric music background.
Software70 is a solo electronic (+ with some guitars) project he started in 2017 with, among other influence, the iconic UK artists from Warp rec. (Plaid, BoC, Autechre...). To speak more broadly, echoes of instrumental electronic music from the 80s and 90s are omnipresent in his compositions.
Dylan speaks: "Software70 is a project I began to create the music I like to hear. Over the course of 6 years I have made the transition from organic music to electronic music as my taste were reoriented by groups like Boards of Canada and Autechre. I don't promote my music but instead focus on output.

First Software70 appearance on the label was with the track "Big Brother" on Optional Essentials Vol.2 (april 2021):

A follow up to "Tower" will be delivered on may 26, an album entitled "Avėil" (7 tracks, another 31 minutes in the same musical vein).
